Bison destroyed Blizzard Buffalo when the later attempted to set an Unity Engine in the temple, learning from him about Sigma's plans and gathering the Four Kings to face the one that dared to invade "his" world. In the Archie Comics crossover Worlds Unite, M. Notable differences include moving the statues closer to the large bell and they no longer break when an opponent is slammed near them. Included in the package, you'll also receive iDom's costume, special costumes for Gill and Lucia, a new color for the entire roster, and more. The stage returns as a DLC stage named Temple Hideout. If you'd like to grab the Ring of Prosperity stage and all of the other CPT 2020 DLC, you can do so for $19.99 USD. So, let us know in the comments who you think it is. But at the end of the day - and after looking at these screenshots for way too long - I think Bison's opponent might be Ed.Īt this point, it's also possible that I'm entirely off and it's neither. The top of the character's head also seems to come to a point, but we can't see what's there due to Bison covering it.Īll of the other statues also hail from Season 1 of Street Fighter 5, which would make an argument for Nash as Ed didn't come around until Season 2. Although, Nash has similar hair (though not exactly the same), and the bill of Bison's cap creates a bit of an optical illusion and looks like the tip of the front of Nash's hair at a glance. To me, this either looks like the bill of Ed's Neo Shadaloo cap or an eye covering to symbolize Nash's glasses - since we're going with the old Greek theme here and contemporary glasses probably wouldn't look right.Įd's cap sees the bill moved off to the side with a flap of hair underneath it, which makes me believe this statue might be him. The main detail we're looking at is the piece over the eyes.

He was captured by Shadaloo and was meant to be a substitute body for Bison.īoth characters make sense here, and depending on how you look at it, it could be one or the other. Bison and Shadaloo, and in Street Fighter 5 the character's main mission is to find that rascal and take him down.Įd, on the other hand, is the Psycho Power-wielding pupil of Balrog. However, because of the way the statue is position and how much of Bison is covering of the top of the fighter's head, it's harder to say.īoth Nash and Ed have ties to Bison, so pairing them up would make sense from the get-go. The two potential candidates I think this might be are Nash and Ed. Now that we can look at more closely, though, I don't feel this is the case. When the trailer debuted, I saw some claiming that Bison's wrestling buddy was Urien. And here is where things get a little tricky. Bison statue can be seeing locking horns with an opponent. Though we can't see the other statue's face, this pretty clearly appears to be Alex due to the piece of the bandanna hanging down.Īs we slide back over to the left, a glorious M. To the right of the stage we clearly see Zangief pinning an opponent down to the ground. Guile stands opposite of Ryu, arm cocked back and mid-throw of a large spear - again, a reference to projectiles. Ryu is seen near the center of the stage holding a discus likely to simulate the Street Fighter poster boy's projectile-throwing ways. Upon the initial reveal of this new stage, the attention of the fans was quickly caught by these stone set pieces.
